WELCOME. SUPPORT. CONNECT.
Be the welcoming face of WMF and help create a brilliant experience for every family
WHAT IS A PARENT HOST?
A Parent Host is the welcoming face of a We Make Footballers academy. You're the first person families meet when they arrive, the go-to for questions, and the glue that holds the community together. It's a voluntary role that makes a huge difference.
Think of it as being the "host" of your child's soccer club. You help with check-ins, chat with parents, support the coaches with admin, and make sure every family โ especially new ones โ feels part of the WMF family.
It's perfect for parents who want to stay involved while their child trains, contribute to the local community, and enjoy benefits like free or discounted sessions. No experience needed โ just a friendly smile and a willingness to help.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Welcome Families
Be the friendly first point of contact for parents and children arriving at sessions. Help new families feel at home.
Manage Registrations
Check in players, manage attendance registers, and help with on-the-day sign-ups and enquiries.
Parent Liaison
Answer parent questions, share session updates, and relay feedback between coaches and families.
Safety & Welfare
Help maintain a safe environment by monitoring the session area and ensuring children are collected by authorised adults.
Session Support
Help with equipment setup and pack-down, refreshments, and any other practical support the coaching team needs.
Community Building
Foster a welcoming community spirit. Organise parent socials, share news, and be an advocate for your local academy.
